Recently he was able to get an apartment on his own. The neighbors there are terrific and understanding and helping. In February and March I was confined to my house in a full leg cast on my right leg. My husband and my best friend's husband were out of town working. My two boys had their hands full waiting on my hand and foot as I was only able to manuever around with crutches. Needless to say bath/shower time was quite a chore. My friend called me daily and even cooked supper for myself and my sons several times. Without her being their for me both physically and spiritually, I'm not sure I would have been able to get through my confinement as well as I did. Our church has had a project this summer called "Operation Free Lunch." We just buy someone lunch--at a drive-thru or restaurant, that's it! I am happy to have helped.<BR/>Two years ago I adopted(so to speak) 4 young boys in El Salvador through a church and send money so each can go to school.
